Born in Kingston, Ontario he initially played for the Queen's University team that won the CAHA Championship in 1909; he played senior hockey for the 14th Regiment in KIngston, a strong championship team; in 1909 he helped Queen's win the Allan Cup; George Richardson Stadium home ground to the Queen's football team is named in his honour; he was killed in action during WW1; he never had the opportunity to play professional hockey; elected in 1950. |
