Defenseman turned Author at the International Hockey Hall of Fame on Saturday July 10th

Sheldon Kannegiesser will be at the museum signing and personalizing copies of his extrordinary book, "Warriors of Winter - Rhymes of a Blueliner Balladeer," on Saturday July 10th between 11 am and 2 pm at the corner of York & Alfred Streets.

From professional hockey player to profound poet, Kannegiesser's hilarious and inspirational bestselling book consists of 31 ballads and over fifty photographs of the legends, characters and crazy things that happened behind the scenes in the world of professional ice hockey.

Sheldon Kannegiesser patrolled the blueline for the New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Los Angeles Kings and Vancouver Canucks from 1967 through 1979, his book takes you inside the game of hockey like no other! Meet Sheldon Kannegiesser this Saturday at the International Hockey Hall of Fame.

Congratulations to the Kingston KIMCO Voyageurs

Kingston KIMCO Voyageurs are hosting a season ending celebration Wed June17th, 6pm to 9pm at the Ambassador Hotel. Everyone is welcome, tickets are $20 and all proceeds go to local charities.

The Voyageurs became the first Kingston junior hockey team in over eighty-years to qualify for a Canadian championship when they went to the recent RBC cup in Victoria, BC - the national junior A hockey championship tournament.

Previously the Vees captured the Buckland Trophy as Ontario Provincial Junior A Hockey champions and the Dudley Hewitt Cup as Central Canadian Champs.

They were recently inducted to the Kingston Sports Hall of Fame. Thank you for your many years of dedication to the International Hockey Hall of Fame & Museum.
